  1. Personal Statement: A blend of my background in dentistry, Oral health, Oral microbiome, oral rehabilitation in the elderly and public health makes me suitable to be selected for this training programme.

My position as the PI in the study titled “Is denture plaque a risk for aspiration pneumonia in older people”? sponsored by the Central Research Committee (CRC), University of Lagos has given me a vast experience in collaborative study involving oral microbiome and dental prostheses. As the Principal Investigator, I lead the team ensuring adequate communication with participants, strict adherence to research protocol, collection of samples and data, financial auditing, auditing of material and other resources. I have experience in conducting clinical research and community research especially among the older population. I have won some local research grants .
